Hypersonic— это расширяемый, высокопроизводительный плейер/синтезатор семплов.
Hypersonic включает библиотеку патчей, содержащую 1000 семплов в более чем 50 категориях. Технология формирования звука базируется на 5 высококачественных звуковых генераторах и библиотеке семплов. С помощью данного VST инструмента можно получать невероятное количество звуков и эффектов. База данных сэмплов полностью интегрирована с VST модулем. Благодаря собственной уникальной разработке Steinberg, данный модуль не такой «прожорливый» до ресурсов процессора и оперативной памяти.
Система синтезирования звука и библиотека патчей расширяются за счет специальных Hyper модулей.

Программа Virtual Guitarist ”Electric Edition” содержит только семплы электрогитары, но имеет дополнительный модуль формата VST с набором эффектов (вау, автофильтр, хорус, фленджер, фейзер, тремоло, дилей, ревербератор), который можно использовать отдельно. Есть 29 ”исполнителей”, представляющих различные стили (от 50-х годов до современных), гитары и усилители.
Здесь собраны 13 банков (по 8 вариаций в каждом) стилевых семплов, сыгранных на электрогитаре. Аккордовый фанк, пицикатто, партии с эффектом ”Wah-Wah”, риффы тяжелого рок с перегрузом – все это естественно входит в звуковой материал Virtual Electric Guitarist. В зависимости от стиля музыки аранжировщик имеет возможность выбора «гитариста», звука инструмента и т.д. Как и с акустическими гитарами эксперименты с электрогитарами дают потрясающие результаты.
